I was reading Joel on Software, and he linked to an excerpt from Microserfs, a book that I’ve read in its entirety. Reading through the section I was reminded that its if anything a hauntingly accurate picture of a life that I know I could be living. There is simultaneously some envy and relief that it is not the path I chose.
