Interviews

I used to mildly regret my decision to accept microsoft’s offer back in last semester because it necessitated forgoing all opportunities this semester. I no longer regret that decision. I’ve already gotten 8 (*2 because they have two emails for me apparently) e-mails telling me that i’m eligible for interviews. My favorite of course being Amazon.com. Oh well.

Academics are somewhat less stressful when not in any CS classes. It’s not that MIS classes are necessarily easy, just that i’m still very much in the phase where 80% of the difficulty for students is figureing out how to think in a computer oriented way, which is about the only mode i’ve thought in for a few years now. Which leaves a communication studies class which has yet to progress to what Mad Dog taught me freshman year at Jesuit. And a math class that i really need to regain my bearings in. It’s not that i’m lost so much as i’ve slacked a bit more than is prudent. I’m now enrolled at ACC as well for Government, i predict that it will not be challenging.

Work is good, the server situation has stabilized (hooray for blogging without context) and the fate of their IT situation after the move is up in the air, which makes all current projects interesting to prioritize.

Ministry is complicated, I need to figure out how/where to best spend my time. i’m excited about our community group.

Train makes me smile, Queen makes me grin.
